How long does this process take?
It depends. Often we have the right person ready to go.
Sometimes, for specialist roles, we search the market and it can take a little longer. This can be around 4 to 6 weeks.
How does pricing work?
You pay a monthly subscription fee to hire the person.
Why are your prices so dang affordable?
The cost of living in South Africa is way less than in the US or UK by comparison. This means that wages tend to be lower.
Every person we hire gets market rate, or above for the role they’re doing.
How do I pay?
You pay for your team member on the 4th of the month to our UK company.
How do you pay the Marketing Pros employee?
Our fee is wrapped into the monthly price, i.e salary + our fee.
We do not take a percentage of anyone’s salary – it gets paid to the employee in full at the end of every month.
So, there is no upfront fee?
Nope, you only pay the monthly subscription fee if the person is placed.
How is the person employed?
We are an Employer of Record in South Africa so this person has a local employment contract with us.
The person will become an embedded member of your team without the stress of managing any of the HR duties. This removes your risk as we take care of all local compliance and international transfers.
What if the person doesn’t meet my expectations?
You have two options here.
- There is a small notice period (see below) and we go back to the drawing board to find you a better fit.
- We can put a performance plan in place for the employee and offer them more support to meet your goals. This is especially beneficial if your hire is a perfect culture fit.
